You do not need to arrange a tow or leave the car at a shop for days. We check the vehicle where it is. You see what we found before you decide what to do.

You see what we find before any repair starts.

At most shops, you leave the keys and wait for a call. With KPEMM, the mechanic checks the car at your home or work. When we find the problem, we bring you to the vehicle and show it to you.

See the problem on your own car. We do not expect you to approve a repair based on a code or a phone call. The mechanic shows you the failed part or test result and explains what it means.

Know the price first. You get a flat price before the repair starts. If the job changes, we stop and talk to you. We do not add work that you have not approved.

Your appointment is actually for your car. You do not drop it off at 3 p.m. and wonder whether anyone has looked at it. The mechanic is there to work on your vehicle at the time we arranged.

If we say we will do it, we do it. We give you a realistic time. If we need a part or a second visit, we tell you before the plan changes.

You deal with KPEMM throughout the job. The same company handles the booking, the visit and the follow-up. You know who to call if you have a question.

Mason's Dodge Challenger would not start.

We met Mason at the car, worked through the no-start problem and found the cause. Before we left, he knew what had failed and what needed to happen next.

Reasonable price

“Joseph was very helpful diagnosing my car's issue. Whole process was quick and easy.”

Google Review, August 2026

Mason called the process quick and easy and said the price was reasonable. That is what an on-site diagnostic should feel like.

What can a mobile mechanic diagnose at your home?

Most calls start with a simple description: "It won't start," "this light came on" or "the window stopped working." You do not need to know the mechanical name for the problem. Tell us what the car is doing and we will start there.

Nothing happens when you try to start it.

You turn the key or press the start button and get silence. We come to the car and trace the reason it is not responding before you spend money on parts or a tow.

The engine turns, but the car will not start.

This is the "it cranks but won't fire" call. The mechanic tests the car where it stopped and tells you what it needs next.

The check engine or battery light came on.

A warning light can mean many things. We check the system involved and tell you whether the car is safe to drive or should stay parked.

A window, light, lock or signal stopped working.

Electrical problems can be small or frustratingly hard to catch. We test the part that is not working and follow the fault until we can explain it.

The battery keeps dying.

A jump start may get you moving once. It will not tell you why the battery went flat. We find out before you buy another battery you may not need.

The problem comes and goes.

Cars often behave perfectly by the time they reach a shop. We can check yours where the problem happened and use what you noticed to narrow it down.

Frequently asked questions about mobile car diagnostics

Can a mobile mechanic diagnose my car at home?
Yes. One of our expert mobile mechanics comes to your home or workplace and checks the vehicle where it is parked. You get an explanation of what is wrong and what needs to happen next without taking the car to a shop first.
My car cranks but will not start. Can you check it in my driveway?
We can. A car may crank normally and still fail to start for several different reasons. We test the vehicle before recommending anything, so you are not buying parts just to see whether they work.
What if I turn the key and nothing happens?
A click, dim lights or complete silence can each point us in a different direction. We check the vehicle at your location and find out why it is not responding before blaming the battery, starter or another part.
Can you diagnose a check engine light at my home?
Yes. The stored code gives us a place to begin, but the code alone does not prove which part failed. We check what is causing the warning and explain whether the car needs immediate attention. If the light is flashing, the engine is running badly or a red warning light appears, stop driving and contact us.
Do you diagnose electrical problems?
Yes. We work on starting and charging problems, lights, signals, windows and electrical faults that keep returning. Just tell us what the car is doing. You do not need to know the mechanical name of the problem.
What if the problem comes and goes?
Intermittent problems can take patience, but they can still be diagnosed. Tell us when the problem happens, what you hear and which warning lights appear. If we need more testing or another visit, we will say so instead of pretending the problem is solved.
Do I need to tow my car before you can diagnose it?
Usually not. We can begin the diagnostic wherever the vehicle is parked, as long as the location is safe and accessible. If the car eventually needs to be moved for a repair, we explain why before you arrange anything.
Do you only connect a scanner and read the codes?
No. A code is a clue. Our job is to find out why that code appeared and what is actually causing the problem. We confirm the failure before telling you to replace a part.
Is a mobile diagnostic as thorough as taking the car to a shop?
A mobile diagnostic is professional diagnostic work performed at your location. The mechanic works on your vehicle during the appointment, and you can see what was found instead of waiting for a call from a service counter. If the problem requires something that cannot be done safely at your location, we tell you directly.
What will I know when the diagnostic is finished?
You will know what we found, what it means and what should happen next. We show you the problem whenever possible and answer your questions at the vehicle. If the cause still needs more testing, we explain what remains instead of giving you a convenient guess.
How much does a mobile car diagnostic cost?
We tell you the diagnostic price before you book. If the vehicle needs a repair, you receive that price before the work begins. We do not add extra work to the bill without speaking with you and getting your approval first.
How long does a car diagnostic take?
There is no honest answer that fits every vehicle. Some problems can be confirmed during the first visit. Electrical faults and problems that come and go may take longer, but we keep you informed while we work.
Can you repair the vehicle after finding the problem?
Often, yes. If the repair is suitable for your location and the part is available, we may be able to finish it during the same visit. Otherwise, we give you the price and arrange a time to return.
Can KPEMM give me a second opinion on a shop or dealer diagnosis?
Yes. We can examine the vehicle and compare what we find with the diagnosis or estimate you received. We then show you the problem and explain it in plain language, so you can decide whether the recommended repair makes sense.
